Description
Sequences of resonant and off resonant X ray pulses can impulsively trigger and probe electronic and nuclear motions in molecules and analyse them using multidimensional correlation plots.
Principles for the design of these signals and applications to the Nitrogen Oxygen and Sulfur K edges in Cysteine, Carbon core transitions in Furan and energy transfer in porphyrin arrays will be presented. Multidimensinal x ray single photon coincidence techniques will be described as well.
