Description In the PIER PhD seminar for members of the graduate school all participants will get the chance to present their PhD projects and to discuss their ideas with fellow PhD students in an informal and yet attentive atmosphere.
The idea behind this interdisciplinary seminar is that all presentations are held in a way that PhD students from the different PIER research fields can benefit from the talks. The seminar is run by PhD students for PhD students; the thesis supervisors will not be present. Two presentations will be held in each session.

And you will also learn how to answer unexpected questions which might cast a new light on your thesis/research project.
What you will learn as a listener
You get to know about other recent PhD projects in the PIER research and competence fields, pick methods and ideas which might throw new light on your thesis/research project and you will strengthen your network with PhD students who are in the same situation like you.
When: Wednesdays, 2.00 p.m. – 3.15 pm every two weeks from 23 April - 16 July 2014 (7 sessions)
