Description
The application of Intelligent Pixel-based devices is largely increasing both in research and applied life. They greatly benefit of the advances in the semi-conductor technology and in advanced CMOS technology as introduced on Day 2. Combining these technological advances on both the sensors and their associated FEE (as shown with some detailed examples), the pixels are becoming more and more intelligent devices with an increasing role for challenging applications in Astrophysics, Particle Physics as well as Novel Medical Imaging.
