In 1927 Rolf Wideröe completed his seminal doctoral thesis in Aachen, Germany. 2017 will be the 90 year anniversary of the first linear RF accelerator, constructed by Wideröe in Aachen, and of his visionary idea for a circular accelerator. DESY and RWTH Aachen are inviting to a high level symposium to mark this anniversary and the subsequent achievements in our accelerator community: Symposium "90 Years of RF Accelerators" Commemorating the 1927 PhD of Rolf Wideröe at Aachen, Germany
