Description

A good understanding of nuclear effects in neutrino interactions is crucial to measure neutrino oscillations. A sample of neutrino interactions with no pion, one muon and al least one proton candidate is used to study quasielastic-like interactions from the MINERvA experiment using the low energy NuMI beam at Fermilab. Kinematic correlations between final-state particles are measured. Measurements of differential cross section as a function of the transverse angle δαT, which represents the direction of the transverse momentum imbalance between the muon and proton, and the estimated initial bound neutron momentum pˆn will be shown. Significant model discrepancies are observed in the predictions for the final-state correlations.
