We systematically construct all torically resolved SO(10) theories theories with possible additional (discrete) Abelian gauge symmetries. The classical part of Yukawa couplings from D6-branes is computed by summing over worldsheet instantons. On non-factorisable tori the worldsheet instantons obey selection rules, which depend on the underlying lattice of the torus. Quantum corrections to the couplings are obtained by T-dualizing the setup and computing the overlapping wavefunctions of three chiral matter fields.

We use Pauli-Villars regularization to evaluate the conformal and chiral anomalies in the effective field theories from Z3 and Z7 compactifications of the heterotic string without Wilson lines.
