Description
Emerging ultrafast X-ray light sources open new possibilities to probe dynamics in atomic, molecular, and condensed phase systems across multiple spatiotemporal scales and ranges of complexity. I will present examples of our work on monitoring coupled electronic-nuclear motion in organic molecules and noble gas clusters as well as photoinduced charge transfer dynamics in molecular and molecule-semiconductor heterostructures by ultrafast inner-shell spectroscopy and X-ray scattering techniques.
