Elliptic Polylogarithms for Feynman integrals

In this talk first a physical motivation is given, why one would like to integrate iteratively over rational functions on elliptic curves and why one needs a generalisation of multiple polylogarithms for this. Then a way to define elliptic multiple polylogarithms is presented, that is particularly useful for physicists. The equivalence of this definition and the elliptic multiple polylogarithms from mathematics literature is shown afterwards.
