Postponed: Third Workshop on Scientific Archives 

Update on 26 March 2020: Regretfully, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions, the Committee on the Archives of Science and Technology (CAST) of the ICA-SUV has decided to postpone the 2020 Third Workshop on Scientific Archives at European XFEL, scheduled for 30 June - 1 July in Hamburg, Germany. We will set new dates as soon as we can.  

On 30th June - 1st July 2020, European XFEL hosts a 1.5 day workshop for discussion on the topic of scientific and technical records and archives.

The Workshop is organised by the Committee on the Contemporary Archives of Science and Technology (CAST) of the International Council on Archives/Section on University and Research Institution Archives (ICA/SUV).

Collaborating with scientists to capture contemporary scientific material

Using scientific archives for outreach and education

Using and re-using archival resources in current science

Enabling access to scientific records

Describing technical and scientific archives

Managing and archiving research data

Scientific archives in a “post-truth” world

Diversity and inclusion in STEM // Diversity and inclusion in Archives
