Description
The emergence of new techniques of machine learning and use of algorithms to perform tasks previously done by humans, raises new ethical questions e.g on possibility of harm by misuse of data, privacy, bias in data selection and ownership of the data. At the same time, public attitudes around the aforementioned data aspects are changing. In light of this, whether you are doing classical data analysis or cutting edge AI, it's imperative to understand the ethical principles guiding data science. This talk will discuss the relevant themes associated with data ethics and their corresponding working practices.
