Ruth:
- cross-talk? —> shielding
- maybe all gas solution?
- 5 cm should be 2.5 cm so the blob is entered (assuming that the transport is 5 cm max)
- length is ~40 cm, 10*10 mm2 segmentation
- need more discussion

Tony:
- 2 sets of Bremss' —> coarse and fine binning. using macro particles (average in the phase space). Divide the pahsespace in bins such that the number of macro particles is Below 5k. This affects the weight. Should be 10k macro particles.
- can start producing the rates vs xi! (analytic, signal simulation, signal passing the full setup)

Sasha:
- screen in fws spect. should be same length as Cherenkov
   - Cherenkov is implemented as 50 cm
   - extend the screens to 50 cm as well (currently 30 cm but seems we can catch more/all particles below 2 GeV)
- segmentation of Cherenkov in the fwd spect. to do the measurement? —> input from Ruth
- thickness of screens should be 500 um in all locations
- sharp peak o the beam that was always seen before?
- for e+laser we have problem of low bkg occupancy for the various distributions
  - Tony will generate 10 times more for one run so we have better population
  - we need to measure how much more time this takes, also for the G4 passage
  - if this doesn’t work, we need much more macro-particles at the signal simulation step
- Daniel: kernel density approximation

Maryna:
- how do you end the beam pipe?
- how do we keep vacuum in the collimator?
  - should go all the way to the shielding
- do we need the collimators?
  - could be that we don’t
  - require some engineering?
- with this setup we can go back to the wire target?
  - if so, we can change the detectors over there (tracker?)
  - crossing wires can serve as a
- converge with Gianluca, Beate, Maryna and Louis really today
  - we need the converge quickly to decide what goes in he model for the final submission.

Kyle:

- profiler melting within ~13 minutes of run time (~7.5k BXs) but not clear if it keeps functioning at the temperatures it gets to (quenching…)
- check heat transfer (maybe cooling...)
- for FLUKA: we need a crosscheck in a few places along the setup to validate the G4 outputs. Once a good level of agreement is obtained we can halt the FLUKA production.
