Description
We have used coherent resonant magnetic x-ray scattering to study the slow fluctuations of the magnetic domain walls in a single crystal film of Dy metal in the spiral antiferromagnetic phase. We find the dynamics evolves along with the correlation length from low temperatures near the transition to the ferromagnetic phase to a different dynamics at high temperatures near the Neel temperature. In the latter regime, a compressed exponential is found with a universal exponent which seems to be characteristic of the dynamics of jammed or frustrated disordered solid systems.
