Surrounding the 4th Bethe Center workshop there will be two focus weeks within the Bethe Forum on Unification and String Theory. The aim is to bring together experts and discuss open/solvable questions in an informal setting. To stimulate discussions blackboard talks will be organised during these weeks. More detailed topics and a schedule will be posted at a later stage.
Due to space limitations, participation in the Bethe workshop does not guarantee a participation in these focus weeks. However, if you do wish to participate, please do indicate your preferred week on the registration form. We will be in contact with you about your participation in the focus week.
Focus week (24th-29th Sept.): Global model building
(with a bias towards heterotic string theory)
Focus week (1st-5th Oct.): Local model building
(with a bias towards type II/F-theory model building)
