The Operation Workshop 2025 (Joint operation of the European XFEL facility) took place on 13–14 November 2025 at Hotel Altes Land, Schützenhofstraße 16, 21635 Jork. The two-day workshop brought together colleagues involved in EuXFEL joint operations to review operational experience from recent years, align priorities for 2026, and address challenges arising from increasing system complexity. The programme combined plenary updates on facility operations (including accelerator, electron- and photon-beam systems, and automation), an open discussion on operational bottlenecks and scheduling, and focused working groups on Automation, Communication, and Setup & Optimization, and concluded with a wrap-up session to consolidate actions and next steps.
