Description
The standard three-neutrino oscillation framework is being increasingly rened by results com-
ing from dierent sets of experiments. However, we still do not have any information regarding
neutrino mass hierarchy. Some methods have been proposed to solve the hierarchy problem
and, among these, one of the most promising is using medium baseline reactor neutrino oscil-
lations. After an introductory review of the current bounds on neutrino oscillation parameters
coming from a recent global analysis, I will present a detailed study of the sensitivity to mass
hierarchy of such a method, considering both analytical calculations and a rened statistical
analysis. Finally, its prospective accuracy expected for the relevant mass-mixing parameters
will also be reported.
