8th Detector Workshop of the Terascale Alliance 2015

School (March 2 - 4) - (completely filled)
The workshop will be preceded by a two days' introductory school on thermal
and mechanical simulations based on finite-element calculations
.
It takes place in the Grimm-Zentrum of Humboldt University Berlin (HU), room 1.702.

The number of participants for the school is restricted to 20.
The registration desk (on the entrance of room 1.702) opens on 2nd March, at 12.30.

Workshop (March 4 - 6)
The workshop contains topical sessions on calorimetry, LHC-Run-2-readiness,
advanced pixel detectors, low mass detector designs.

In addition, there will be individual talks on LHCb fibre tracker, AIDA, Belle II, and CTA.
It takes place in the main building of Humboldt University Berlin, Senatssaal (details).

The registration desk (on the entrance to the Senatssaal) opens on 4th March, at 13.30.

Workshop dinner (March 5, 19:00 s.t. ):
The workshop dinner takes place in the Restaurant Cum Laude which is very close to the HU main building (details).

The fee for the school and/or workshop is 45,00 EUR, including coffee breaks during school and workshop, as well as the workshop dinner. 
Accompanying persons of the participants who would like to join the workshop dinner have also to pay a fee of 45,00 EUR to the workshop bank account (For details see: Payment).

Accommodation
Since hotels in  Berlin are permanently in high demand, it is recommended to book your hotel very soon. You might use HRS with price and city center distance filters to find rooms at reasonable rates.
