Significance of non-perturbative input to TMD gluon density in  hard processes at LHC

Abstract: We study the role of the nonperturbative input to the transverse momentum dependent (TMD) gluon density in hard processes at the LHC, which based on our previous investigation. We match the non-perturbative input to the TMD, obtained at low transverse momenta kT (and starting scale Q2 = 1 − 2 GeV2 ) from the fitting of the inclusive hadron spectra in pp collisions at  LHC in the mid-rapidity region to the exact solution of the BFKL equation outside of the saturation region at large kT. Then, to extend this TMD at higher Q2 we use the Catani-Ciafoloni-Fiorani-Marchesini (CCFM) evolution equation solution. The use of new TMD allows us to describe reasonably well the LHC data on the heavy flavour jet production and especially the correlation between b-jets produced in pp collisions at low x and high transverse momenta.
