Description
We investigate the stability of the saturation regime of the
Gribov-Levin-Ryskin equation against azimuthal perturbations, and argue
that the appearance of unstable modes could lead to the "spontaneus
symmetry breaking" of azimuthal symmetry in high energy pp and AA
collisions. We discuss the phenomenology of this hypothesis in light of
the "harmonic flow" observable seen in heavy ion collisions.
