Description
In composite Higgs theories, strong conformal dynamics can allow a natural separation between the compositeness and the flavor scales. This motivates considering a CFT as the UV completion of these models. I will focus on the low energy observables of a spontaneously broken CFT in this scenario, specifically on the mass and couplings of the dilaton. I will address the conditions under which the dilaton can be light, and determine the form of its couplings to other fields. I will then construct the theory of the radion, the holographic dual of the dilaton in the Randall-Sundrum framework, and show how the results on the two sides of the correspondence agree.
