Description

We present a non-perturbative study of a five-dimensional Gauge-Higgs Unification model on the lattice using Monte Carlo simulations. We find a region in the Higgs phase where the ratio of the Higgs to the gauge boson mass is like in the Standard Model. In the same region we observe localization to four dimensions. Despite the non existence of a second order phase transition, cut-off effects are found to be small allowing a prediction of the energy of excited states.
