Description
The Geant based ’Allpix’ tool can provide detailed simulation of testbeam
setups and silicon sensors. It could therefore provide very interesting insights
into sensors as well as the testbeam in general. In this presentation we discuss
detalis and difficulties encountered during local installation and setup of the
system, before a running version was obtained.
Some preliminary results, such as Tot distributions and cluster size distri-
butions are shown. Furthermore, using a provisional interface to the Bergen
analysis program for efficiency measurements, a comparison is made with test
beam data collected at CERN in September 2015. Here, special attention is
made to selection criteria, such as window sizes around reconstructed tracks.
