This workshop aims at exchanging knowledge and experience in energy research at home laboratory sources and high-flux (soft) X-ray sources. Systems of interest are state-of-the-art energy conversion materials - actual methods presentations include forefront laboratory spectroscopy as well as microscopy experiments together with experiments utilizing the pulsed, time-resolved structure proportions of high-flux X-ray sources.

Organizing Institutions
  • Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY, Hamburg
  • Georg-August-Universität Göttingen

  • Simone Techert (DESY & Georg-August-Universität Göttingen)
  • Christian Jooss (Georg-August-Universität Göttingen)

 Administrational Organisation
  • Britta Niemann (DESY, FS-SCS Office Management)
  • Carmen Kaspar (Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Sekretariat SFB1073)

The workshop is co-funded by the collaborative research center "Atomic control of energy conversion" DFG-SFB1073 and the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).
