Another option is the Guesthouse "Der Köpenicker" or briefly "Krokodil" (http://www.der-coepenicker.de/) in Köpenick (not Adlershof, but the nearby neighbourhood).
Doubles used by a single person are 69,00 €, for two people it´s 89,00 €. Accessible by Tram/streetcar 61/63 from "Schloßplatz Köpenick". The trip takes 20 min´s, trains run in 10 min´s interval. Krokodil is located at the river Dahme and has a little beach to jump into the river (water! water!). We have no reservations there, so if you want to stay there, be quick, please.

We have no reservation there, but in case you decide shortly before the meeting and all other options are gone, Penta is a nice place with a laid-back lobby bar, situated at the Dahme river and well accessible by the trams from "Köllnischer Platz" as mentioned above.

Nearby the Pentahotel you find the "Hotel am Schloss Köpenick" resp./formerly "Best Western" in Köpenick (http://www.goldentulipamschlosskoepenickberlin.com/). Public transport to HZB works by frequent running Tram streetcars 61/63. The hotel lies at the banks of the Dahme river, and the terrace of the Italian restaurant in the ground floor has a view to the Köpenick Castle.

For those with a very tight budget or our adventureous students, Berlin has got the coolest lodging option on the planet: The Eastern and Western Comfort Hostel Boats at the northern bank of the Spree river (https://www.eastern-comfort.com/), Mühlenstraße 73. Drawback: It´s in Berlin Mitte/Friedrichshain area, and that´s quite a 50 min´s haul by U- and S-Bahn to travel to HZB. But it´s possible, and in case you don´t mind, feel free to contact them. They´re very likely well booked, and if you are interested, get in contact with ´em soon.
