Description
Construction at ESS is proceeding. Commissioning of the first
substantial section, the normal conducting Linac, is approaching. The talk
gives an outline of the status of the control system preparations,
concentrating on the MTCA-based systems. An overview of the developments and
the control system architecture is given. Some results of newly developed
applications are presented.
