The workshop will take place in Zeuthen, which is a small town near Berlin. It is easily reachable by public transport from any place in Berlin. However, please note that it might easily take an hour to get to Zeuthen, if you choose a hotel in central Berlin.
The airport Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) is the closest to DESY. However, also Berlin Tegel (TXL) is a convenient airport. DESY is at a walkable distance from Zeuthen S-Bahn station, which connects to both airports and all major train stations in Berlin.
We have made a block reservation of 10 rooms at the DESY guest house in Zeuthen, which is affordable and on campus. You need to make the reservation on your own, i.e. all contact (reservations, cancellations etc.) must be made directly with the hostel.

Mention "DESY" when booking. Single-rooms will cost 79,00 EURO/night (including breakfast).
We plan on not collecting a workshop fee to cover costs for the coffee breaks. In turn, items like a workshop dinner are not included. We will organize one nontheless.
There is limited travel support available for graduate students and post-docs. Please contact the local organizers for details, if you would like to attend, but travel costs would preclude your attendance. Please do so rather sooner than later, the latest until April 1st.
