Public transport from the airport
There is a direct bus connection from Denver International Airport to downtown Boulder. From the main airport terminal, go out the south exit and take the long escalator down to the transit station. Take the AB1 bus from Gate 8. (Do not take the AB2, since this does not go to downtown Boulder.) Get off at Downtown Boulder Station, which is the last stop.
The AB1 generally departs the airport every hour at 20 past the hour. The exact schedule is here. It is recommended to get to the bus stop 10–15 minutes early so the driver can load luggage. The travel time from the airport to downtown Boulder is 60–75 minutes.
Fares are $10.50 each way. Fare can be paid with cash on board (exact change only), or tickets can be purchased with cash, credit, and debit cards from machines at the transit station. More information about airport transit service can be found at the Regional Transit District website.
