Description
This talk will summarise the work and experience to date of
the WLCG Grid Services
Monitoring Working Group whose goal is, through better
service monitoring, to improve
the reliability and availability of the Grid. The talk will
cover proposed
standardizations for service metric gathering and grid
monitoring data exchange and
the use of a Nagios-based prototype deployment for validation.
