Intro:
- can use the ILC resources but just need to check with Oliver
- need shielding from the 2 sides of the dump!

Tony:
- Beate and Noam will look as the new points quickly
- Beate is looking at the ICS as well
- bkg studies should proceed as usual.

Sasha:
- need to replicate to ILC localgroupdisk space —> Louis will discuss offline?
- can other people from DESY ask for certificate? —> Louis will check
- centralise the data (also from Tony)
- we need a small code-snippet to know how to filter out the particles coming form the dump

Maryna:
- can you also look at the mean (and the resolution)
- will update the CDR plots, with more stats
- linear fit is not yet concluded

Kyle:
- Maryna: how many BXs used to make the “Constructed electron spectrum - Air”? should be much more stats.
- Ruth: try the filter approach
- Sasha: how do you convert the position to the energy?
  - 20 pixels around the centre in the vertical direction
  - count number of photons in this strip
  - use the quantum efficiency
  - convert using the E(x) function
  - need to take dN/dE and it is not uniform like the segmentation

Noam+Louis:
- when estimating the bkg in e+laser, try to see how much bkg comes from the air between the detectors and the dump
- preferably do this with the electron beam only
- otherwise, postponing the discussion for after the CDR
