This mini lecture series is an introduction to quantum computing with a special emphasis on expressivity, error mitigation and machine learning.

The lectures take place in the morning and are accompanied by
consultation hours in the afternoon.

    Lena Funcke: Introduction to Error Mitigation
    Pan Kessel:
    A Lightning Introduction to Machine Learning for Quantum Physicists
    Lecture: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

This lecture is part of the PIER Education Platform (PEP). The workshops, course and lectures in PEP are open for PhD students of the PIER Helmholtz Graduate School and its cooperation partners on Bahrenfeld Campus/DESY. PEP is a cooperation of the PIER Helmholtz Graduate School, the Quantum Universe Research School QURS, CUI/AIM, and DASHH.
