Description
After a brief introduction of the two Higgs doublet models, we compare the
effectiveness of the two hypotheses of Natural Flavor Conservation and Minimal Flavor Violation, in suppressing the strength of flavor changing neutral currents. The phenomenological implications of the Minimal flavor violating scenario are discussed. Particular focus is given to the CP-violating asymmetry of the Bs meson mixing system: we will show that, introducing flavor blind CP phases, the model can accommodate a large asymmetry, as recently hinted by CDF and D0 data.
