Description

We investigate the LHC signals of the models obtained in our exploration of the general CP-conserving MSSM with Minimal Flavor Violation, the pMSSM. The models studied were obtained by scanning 19 soft SUSY breaking parameters, chosen to satisfy all existing experimental and theoretical constraints assuming that the WIMP is a conventional thermal relic, i.e., the lightest neutralino. The properties of the SUSY partners encompass a broader range than found in any of the conventional SUSY breaking scenarios such as mSUGRA. As a result, they lead to many unusual expectations for SUSY signals at the LHC. We provide an update of our analysis of the LHC signatures of this model set. We present a summary of the lessons to be learned for SUSY searches at the LHC, and discuss some unique models in detail.
