Analysis Centre seminar: Alberto Guffanti (Freiburg): NNPDF parton determination: present status and prospects for the LHeC

Abstract: "A determination of Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) with a reliable error estimation is crucial for the success of the LHC experimental program. In the first part of the talk, I will discuss in detail the NNPDF methodology for PDF determusing as a baseline the NNPDF2.0 global parton analysis error estimation and Neural Networks as unbiased interpolants, and present the recently released NNPDF 2.0 global fit.
