Abstract:
"A determination of Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) with a reliable error estimation is crucial for the success of the LHC experimental program.
In the first part of the talk, I will discuss in detail the NNPDF methodology for PDF determusing as a baseline the NNPDF2.0 global parton analysis error estimation and Neural Networks as unbiased interpolants, and present the recently released NNPDF 2.0 global fit.
In the second part I will examine, using as a baseline the NNPDF2.0 global analysis, the impact of different proposed scenarios for the LHeC for improving our knowledge of parton densities."
