Description
A survey of the KEKB magnets and monuments was carried out using FARO
laser trackers and LEICA DNA03 to form a survey network for the
next-generation B-factory, SuperKEKB. All of the main dipole magnets in
the low energy ring (LER) will be replaced by longer magnets and the
magnets in the entire interaction region as well as in the straight
sections on either side of the interaction region will be replaced. A
strategy to complete the installation and the alignment of the magnets
will be discussed.
