We are looking for a support scientist to join the HEASARC team to provide the data and tools needed to extract the most high energy astrophysics science from NASA data. See the full job ad at https://jobregister.aas.org/ad/499c4693.
This position:
- is mostly about technical support (Python, Docker, Virtual Observatory, etc.);
- includes time for independent research;
- is open to non-US citizens/residents (help with visa is proided);
- is not tenured but is a multi-year position of indeterminate duration.
