Research Positions on AMS Physics at Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology

Description

Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology (SDIAT) seeks candidates for several positions working on the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) experiment.

Currently, it has openings for both senior and junior scientists including:
1) senior scientists,
2) principal research scientists,
3) junior research scientists,
4) postdoctoral scientists.
The appointment of each position will be based on international peer review standards to evaluate each candidate’s qualifications.

SDIAT provides salary, benefits, and funding support at an international competent level. For the details, please refer to the attached document.

The positions will be primarily based at Jinan, China, with regular travels to CERN, Switzerland. The appointment could be extended based on mutual agreement.

The candidates should have a Ph.D. in experimental researches of particle physics, nuclei physics, or astro-particle physics. Interested candidates should submit their application, including curriculum vitae with publication list and a statement of research interests, and arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent directly to Prof. Weiwei Xu (weiwei.xu@iat.cn).
