Workshop: “Your way to Professorship? - Plan your Academic Career Strategically”
When starting an academic career, one encounters limited employment options in and outside of universities. In this workshop the main stepping stones of an academic career up to a professorship are discussed and further options are presented. The main focus will be on features that help you stand out whilst also investing in a "Plan B". Those are in particular a clear and independent profile, confident interaction with organisational structures and their committees and micropolitical & strategic networking competences.
