In this workshop the main stepping stones of an academic career up to a professorship are discussed and further options are presented. The main focus will be on features that help you stand out whilst also investing in a "Plan B". Those are in particular a clear and independent profile, confident interaction with organisational structures and their committees and micropolitical & strategic networking competences.
