The international Science@FELs 2022 conference will take place from 19-22 September 2022 at DESY and European XFEL in the Hamburg Metropolitan Area.

It will focus on recent scientific highlights and related research activities from FEL facilities world-wide, and features a half-day tutorial session as well as the “FELs of Europe award on FEL Science and Applications 2022”.

This will be the 6th conference of the Science@FELs series, following the online event in 2020. It is organised as a biannual meeting by FELs OF EUROPE, the collaboration of European free electron laser (FEL) facilities and advanced short-pulse light sources (SPS).

Again, the one and a half day “Forum on Advanced FEL Techniques”, aiming to bring together FEL experts and FEL users, will take place right after the main conference, from 22-23 September 2022.
