How to get from EuXFEL to DESY:
By public transportation
Travel along Holzkoppel and take a left turn at Osterbrooksweg to get to the bus stop Schenefeld, Aneken (ca. 5 min walk).
MetroBus 2 in the direction of U S Berliner Tor to Trabrennbahn Bahrenfeld. Change to MetroBus 1 in the direction of S Rissen to Zum Hünengrab (DESY).
Walk onin the direction of the street Zum Hühnengrab but take a right turn on Notkestraße to get to the DESY main entrance.
OR
Travel along Holzkoppel and take a left turn at Osterbrooksweg to get to the bus stop Schenefeld, Aneken (ca. 5 min walk).
MetroBus 285 in the direction of Reinheimerweg to Holtbarg. Change to MetroBus 1 in the direction of Bf. Altona to Zum Hünengrab (DESY).
Walk back in the direction of the street Zum Hühnengrab but take a right turn on Notkestraße to get to the DESY main entrance.
To EuXFEL:
S-Bahn S1 (green line) in the direction of Wedel to Iserbrook folowed by MetroBus 285 in the direction of Bf. Pinneberg to Schenefeld, Aneken
OR
S-Bahn S1 (green line) in the direction of Wedel or Blankenese to Altona folowed by MetroBus 2 in the direction of Schenefeld, Aneken (not Achterndiek) to its last station.
Continue in the direction of travel down Osterbrooksweg, and take a right turn at Holzkoppel (approx. 5 min walking).
