The ATTRACT consortium organizes an in-person workshop (with the option of online participation) in the European XFEL campus, Hamburg metropolitan area.
The event, with external expert participation, intends to provide the eighteen funded ATTRACT phase 2 projects with valuable knowledge to handle the steps towards successful commercialization. It will offer an exchange among the ATTRACT phase 2 projects developing breakthrough technologies, venture capitalists, experts of innovation ecosystems, R&D Industrial networks like EIRMA, and intergovernmental basic science institutions like CERN, European XFEL, and ESO.
The participants are expected to gain awareness of the best practices in the relationships with suppliers and how to involve them in co-innovation. During the “EU Breakthrough Technology Square” Workshop, Venture Capitalists will provide information on their modus operandi and expectations and, in one-to-one meetings, will give the ATTRACT projects specific insights. Additionally, via clinic sessions with the ATTRACT consortium, each project will open up on its particular needs to receive supplemental support if required.
