The Centre of Molecular Water Science (CMWS) brings together key experts from different areas of water-related sciences with the common goal of achieving a detailed molecular understanding of water. This includes the dynamic processes in water and at water interfaces, which are highly relevant for chemistry, biology, Earth, and the environment as well as for technology.

The CMWS graduate workshop will provide an introduction into the recent developments in the field of molecular water research. The aim is to give an overview on current trends in theory, simulation and experiments of water as well as provide a platform for stimulating discussions on the future of the scientific field. Special attention will be paid on modern experimental techniques hosted in the Hamburg environment, as well as connections between simulation, theory and experiment.

The workshop addresses master and PhD students, young research fellows, as well as interested scientists. In particular, students and postdocs of the CMWS (early) science program are invited to join the workshop and present their project.
