First Call for Expressions of Interest in the formation of User Consortia
for collaboration in the construction and financing of scientific instruments for the European XFEL facility
<o:p></o:p>The Council of the European XFEL recently decided to welcome contributions by User Consortia to the construction of scientific instruments, to the ancillary instrumentation and to the technical infrastructure. The Council requested that contributions by User Consortia are regulated by a clear set of guidelines.<o:p></o:p>
In response to this, the European XFEL Management is now issuing and widely distributing this Call for Expressions of Interest in contributing to the European XFEL in the form of User Consortia.

An Information Day for perspective Consortia members who may wish to acquire additional information and to make contact with the European XFEL staff is planned for
