Minutes:

TOP1: Schedule and Membership

-- TA6 WP1: April 04, WP4: April 18, WP3: April 25, WP2: May 02, WP5: May 16
-- usually our meetings is every 6 weeks
-- keep the usual schedule if meeting not required then just cancel
-- WP5 might shift by one week due to constraints

Membership changes:
-- Makarim leaves at the end of the month
-- Sebastian-Achim Müller replaces Makarim at MPIK and will work in WP3

TOP2: Publication and promotion of PUNCH results
-- Recently, NFDI4Ing promoted a (half-finished) forum throughout the NFDI, which basically looks like ours and which we have since 2.5 years.
-- Due to lack of usage in PUNCH internally, we never promoted it to the outside world and now missed the opportunity of being the first. Apparently, nobody cared about our solution until an outside solution became available. This should not happen!
-- Given the participation numbers in PunchLunches (80 recently) the outside world is interested in what we do.
-- Suggestions to change this:
++ Special sessions at General Meetings about new (and existing) products and services, so that it's not just "mentioned on the side"
++ Our services and products must be accessible (and findable) from the outside world
++ Have a clear procedure in place how to promote products and services (like put it on the results page and then send out an NFDI-wide Email and maybe social media)
++ Improve the webpage of PUNCH: The front page should be regularly updated and highlight recent achievements (with links to where to find them), results page must be prominently placed, the webpage (and especially our results) should be reachable at best in "one click" (that is in as few clicks as possible)
++ Additional improvement of the webpage: Replace "use case classes X" (and similar) with more descriptive titles. Visitors want to find something quickly and don't click through everything before may be finding what they're looking for. One may also consider to give the webpage a more modern look (it's always important to be "shiny"; eg https://projectescape.eu)

++ strategy: collect input from TAs, put on results page, advertise to NFDI via mailing list, advertise in PUNCH in general meeting in specific services slot, presentation of new results in TA6 overall meeting, make results page easy to find from general web page, advertise prominent results also on general web page at central place.

TOP3: Calendar
-- General consensus: We need a simple calendar tool that every PUNCH member can access and update; INDICO is currently restricted to only WP-leads and higher. This will be easier to configure from now on since INDICO access rights can now be configured based on PUNCH AAI groups.
-- Wish list: A simple calendar that is easy to find and easy to use, which can be updated both manually and automatically, some automatic tools that read other (eg NFDI) calendars and import those dates into our calendar, an automatic Email digest about upcoming events (with ics files that can be imported to personal calendars)
-- INDICO is in principle a useful tool for that, but the 2 calendars are currently not very well linked to (there are links on the TA6 intranet page). These links should be highlighted on the front page of the intranet, so that they are easy to find ("1 click"), the INDICO calender is a tool nobody objected to, we should therefore use this as a starting point.
-- Important: We need to find the NFDI-wide calendar (if it exists) which may contain the NFDI-wide calls (like section meetings etc) in order to import it into our calendar. Such a tool would probably be interesting also to others and could be promoted as a PUNCH product
-- Work to be started with preliminary results for the WP1 meeting (04 April)

TOP4: WP round
-- WP3 deliverables 1 and 2 to be released next week
