Venue and Travel
The MT Annual Meeting 2024 takes place in Berlin-Adlershof, John-von-Neumann Building of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin.
The public transport station closest to the venue is S-Bahn Adlershof, best accessible from Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Berlin Airport by using S9 connection (other options possible).
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Due to construction works the S9 connection (and all other connections) will terminate at S Schöneweide. Please leave the station in travel direction and turn right under the bridge. You will find the Tram station arouind the corner. Use either tram line M17 (direction S Adlershof) oder 61 (direction Rahnsdorf/ Waldschänke) and leave the tram at Magnusstr. This is directly at the venue.
Helmholtz has a special offer for train tickets for travelling to Helmholtz organized events. (Note that you might be asked for a document confirming your participation in a Helmholtz event. The email confirming your registration is sufficient.)
Accomodation
There are numerous hotel accommodations available in Berlin-Adlershof, several within walking distance to the meeting location.
We recommend to use one of the well-known booking sites to make your reservation. There are no designated conference hotels, nor did wie reserve room blocks at hotels, since this is usually more expensive than offers on the booking sites.
