TRAVEL

Travel through Vienna airport

Travel for Vienna airport to Bratislava is very straightforward. There are three bus companies that operate the route between Schwechat airport and Bratislava City Center – all are linked below and have an English version. Tickets can be booked online (average price 6-10 EUR), or from the driver if still available. The buses run in regular intervals on average every hour between the three companies. The travel time is 45 minutes. Please make sure to have an ID or passport on you, you may be asked to present it. The bus stops right outside the Arrivals exit. The stop you will need is ´´Bratislava Most SNP´´ which is directly next to the hotel.

GETTING AROUND

Bratislava, and Slovakia in general, are contactless-payment-friendly, which means you may pay with credit cards in most places. Nonetheless, it is always a good idea to carry some cash (euros!) just in case.

Travel via public transportation is not foreseen, but tickets can be bought in machines at most bus and tram stops, as well as via app or sending a text.

Bratislava is a walkable city with many sights to see – here are some of the most popular in case you have time to spare outside of the meeting.
