Technical information
Laptops will be provided during the sessions which can be used to share presentations. To connect your own laptop to the beamer, HDMI is available at the public sessions. The internal sessions take place in smaller rooms, where laptops can be connected via Bluetooth to screens.
General
The meeting takes place at Universitätsclub Bonn, Konvikstr. 9, 53113 Bonn.
Public transport from the main station Bonn to Universitätsclub Bonn:
- Lines 16, 63 in direction Bad Godesberg or line 66 in direction Bad Honnef
- Get off at stop UNIVERSITÄT/MARKT, follow the signs to Stockenstraße/Markt
- after exit U-Bahn follow right, alongside the University building
- after ca. 50 meters go left through Koblenzer Tor
- direkt after cross the main street Belderberg
- on the other side, continue straight into Konviktstraße (parallel to University building)
- after ca. 20 meters you reach the Universitätsclub Bonn on the left side
By foot from the main station: walking takes about 20 minutes.
By car:
- exit A565 at Bonn Nord / Auerberg
- follow left in the direction Bonn Innenstadt (city centre)
- 650 m on Graurheindorfer Straße
- turn left to Augustusring
- after 200m turn right to Römer Straße
- after 850m turn left to Theaterstraße
- after 150m turn right to Erzberger Ufer – carefule, bike street
- after 1km turn right to 1. Fährgasse
- after 100m turn right to Adenauerallee
- cross below the Koblenzer Tor
- after ca. 50m BEFOR Barmer Ersatzkasse turn right to Giergasse
Parking permits - free of charge - are available for university parking (Uni-Garage). Parking permits have to be collected at registration at the Universitätsclub before getting access to the parking. The entrance to the university parking is south of Koblenzer Tor, reach via Stockenstraße.
There is no parking available directly at Universitätsclub. You could also use the parking at the opera (Operngarage), approach via Brassertufer or Kennedybrücke. No special conditions are arranged here.
