A tour is organised to the DESY II Test Beam Facility on the DESY campus:
- The test beam facility is a user facility at the DESY II synchrotron
- It offers at 3 beamlines electron beams with an energy in the GeV range for detector prototype and module tests
- On average, ~ 400 user come each year, mostly from the particle physics and nuclear physics community
Registration will be open July 24-31.
Number of participants is limited (max. 24).
Meeting point will be on August 5 at 14:00h at the north gate of the "Experimental Hall II" (building 27):
