Description

I will review the tropical sampling method to evaluate Feynman parametric integrals numerically. The method works particularly well in situations with many scales, higher loop order and where ~5 digit accuracy is sufficient. I will explain an application, within in a joint work with Mathijs Fraaije, of a similar philosophy to optimized sampling of certain phase space measures. This 'tropical Feynman sampling' is aimed at accelerating the evaluation of phase space integrals.
