This year the European XFEL User Organization Executive Committee awards Poster Prizes to posters presented at the European XFEL Users’ Meeting about exciting research performed with radiation from European XFEL. The posters will be evaluated during the Tuesday poster session (21 January 2025) with respect to scientific content and context, research progress and findings, visual appeal, and presenter’s knowledge, ownership, and enthusiasm. The awards will be announced during a reception on the same day.
Requirements are that presenters announce their participation when registering the poster, and that the first author and poster presenter
- must be enrolled in a PhD programme, or
- must be a post-doctoral researcher within 1 year of receiving their PhD or
- is an undergraduate student
at the date of the event.
