The POF report is still considered an internal document and should not be distributed though.

    • 14:30 15:29
Introduction into PoF V and discussion 59m
      Speaker: Ties Behnke (DESY)
      • Ties explains the structure in his talk
        • The upcoming PoF review is about the past (i.e. was has been achieved in PoF IV)
Each of the topics will get a grade (see slide 11 of Ties)
        • There will be a review in May 2026 about PoF V (prepared in 2025) - this evaluation is under the new Helmholtz President, and therefore not yet fully known.
It is already known that the strategic review will be led by Norbert Holtkamp (cross reviewer now), and Daniel Zajfman (chair now) will be part of the committee).
        • Cross reviewers will take part in several center reviews (see slide 9 of Ties)
        • Questions to the reviewers are given in Ties' slides 12-14:
          • Beate will include people in her talk
        • Poster session:
          • on Tuesday later afternoon/evening, only poster presenters and reviewers will be around
          • Poster presenters: prepare to answer questions to PIER, COAST, DynaMENT, DASHH or any other training program
          • Rehearsal session has still to be organized
        • The final version of the report will be uploaded to this agenda in the coming days
      • Campus tour:
        • The reviewers will see module production for ATLAS already in Zeuthen, so the tour in Hamburg can focus on the petals and the CMS modules.
        • 1-2 posters could be shown with most important information (e.g. for DAF a plan of the DAF with some pictures of where which parts are assembled)
        • How much time do the reviewers have in MU/MT specific stops?
      • Who has to go to which session in February and when are people notified: not yet clear... definitely speakers, group leaders, and a few more; MT might change from one topic to the next a few people
      • Who of the referees will be in the parallel session: will be only defined shortly before, but can be mostly guessed (see slide 9 of Ties)
